Open Question: where can i tent camp in southern new jersey?

What are the laws/rules about tent camping? me and a couple buddies wanted to just go out in the woods camping one night just to hang out and maybe explore a little. Are there laws against that?

Fine or formaldehyde? Brazilian Blowout gets FDA warning

Luckily, not all of this fall's hair trends need sleek straight hair since the popular and pricey salon treatment for turning frizzy hair lustrous, Brazilian Blowout, recently got slapped with its first official warning letter by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. The agency claims the Brazilian Blowout "contains a deleterious substance that may render it injurious to users under the conditions of use prescribed" and is "mislabeled" because it claims to be formaldehyde-free when FDA tests show that's not the case.

Christmas Gift for Forest Campers

Christmas will come early for campers visiting Forest Holidays Caravan & Camping Sites during the festive period.

Forest Holidays has announced that eight of its Caravan & Camping Sites will be open during the winter months ? and those campers that visit in the week leading up to Christmas Day will receive a Christmas present in the shape of a Christmas tree sapling!

The Sites are: Setthorns, Spiers House, Thorpe, Postern Hill, Beddgelert, Christchurch, Ardgartan and Glenmore.

The gesture confirms the organisation's continued commitment of encouraging people to enjoy and preserve the country's most treasured woodland.

Kerry Bhella, The Camping and Caravanning Club's Club Products Manager is delighted to offer such a gift and she said: "Preserving the environment is a priority for Forest Holidays so it only seems fitting we try and encourage our campers to do the same.

"Camping over the festive period is a magical experience and there's no better way to really get into the spirit of things than by pitching up under real Christmas trees.

"We would encourage everyone to give it a go ? it's the perfect time to recharge your batteries, spend time with loved ones and experience the true beauty of the great outdoors.?

The Christmas tree saplings will be available for campers to pick up from the sites' receptions on Christmas Eve. Drinks and seasonal refreshments will also be available.

This offer is valid for campers visiting any of the eight Forest Holidays Caravan & Camping Sites between; Monday, December 19 to Sunday, December 25.

Why you should visit Germany this Christmas

Here you will find over 200 wooden stalls sitting in the Domplatz, with an intimidating cathedral guarding the square. Don't be afraid to enter the building, however, as the crypt beneath houses the 24 Advent scenes and a floral tableaux created by locals. Outside in the square, the big draw is the nativity scene, which includes 14 almost life-size figures that have been carved by hand, a large wooden pyramid, and a Christmas tree that towers at 80 feet. At night, the entire scene is lit up by candles.

Visiting Comox

My sister is a school teacher so after the school year finishes she gets to do the local travel thing. She organized a family weekend in Comox for the family to get together. My Grandparents (Nara's Great Grandparents) hadn't seen our latest addition so we were manditory attendance. Of course our first stop into town is the Grandparents house.

We discovered that Nara is quite good with new people! In fact, she seems to like to put on a show - more interactive with more smiles than we normally see.

My Aunt Jennifer graciously put on an afternoon garden party so that we had an excuse to get together and shoot the breeze. This was Nara's coming out party to a lot of people but Marcus was also new to a few people.



Being the first days of summer vacation, there was lots of energy by the older kids too.

Justin had just received a dirt bike so that got a demo. Consider it's built for kids - it sure does go fast! I wonder if Nara will get one she hits her teens?

And the rest was family, family, family!
